I heard the article on CBC (Canada) and came to see and hear. The video and the sound of Norwegian voices was lovely. I helped a friend build a Hutte for his daughter Gry just outside Geilo in 1978. The boiled coffee and goat cheese tasted great in the mountains. It was Gunnar Sveningsgard. The images of the video bring the feeling of the mountains and my friends back. This is such a nice connection through this art installation. I am a portrait photographer and show some goings on in Grande Prairie Alberta. Thank you.
Thanks Paul. We always bring home lots of brown goat cheese from our Norway trips. Geilo also happens to be the place where I first tried cross-country skiing. I was 5 years old and can still remember the frustrating feeling of the warm snow sticking to my skis, making them heavier for each metre I tried to move. Didn’t cross many countries that winter.
