Malmö is the third largest city in Sweden. It is a city in transition from an industrial past to a coming 'city of knowlege'. The traffic infrastructure is still heavily biased towards cars, with large thoroughfares that cuts through the city centre. Amiralsgatan is one of the major transit routes and the most polluted street in Malmö. The panorama above shows where it intersects with the Kungsgatan park and cuts off its pedestrian paths and bike lanes.
